Advanced Manufacturing Senior Engineer

​Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of new production materials, equipment, and technologies before conducting mass production.

• Completes manufacturing research & development to solve problems related to production cost and quality.

• Conducts technical feasibility tests to ensure production efficiency.

• Evaluates project capacity as the basis for production process design and development.

• Develops and implements standard manufacturing procedures.

• Evaluates production processes to reduce overall costs.

• Determines product quality standards and arranges equipment and tools to support production.

• Selects and communicates with vendors to determine product specifications. Ensures products are delivered within approved timelines and budget.

• Level: A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Skills:

• Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.

• Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
