Project Planning/Scheduled Engineer

​Position Description:

• Using data analytics, understand the latest status of the production release (P-Release) and pinpoint areas of concern for further investigation.

• Coordinate daily reviews with members of the programme and units to establish improvement activity to reduce lead times.

• Work with Procurement teams and Engineers to get improved delivery plans from suppliers.

• Identify alternative procurement routes / part pedigree where necessary.

• Managing communications with stakeholders via the daily report out.

• Ensure the issue management system is being updated, prioritised, and escalated where appropriate.

• Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

• Supporting the team in removing impediments.

• Enabling team to deliver business objectives.

Skills Required:

• Experience of Programme delivery with milestone and gateways

• Automotive experience

• Metric Development

Experience Required:

• Automotive or relevant supply chain experience
