Embroidery Specialist

​Position Description:

• We are looking for an embroidery specialist to join the team to support a new and growing work stream.

• The candidate will be expected to develop artwork with a team of designers to create robust embroidery designs with physical, prove-out samples for low volume and bespoke production.

  Skills Required:

• Embroidery digitising Experience of DG16 Tagima soft wear

• Experience of creating artwork, stitch paths, stitch types to meet a brief.

Skills Preferred:

• Experience of all aspects of machine and hand sewing, preferably durkopp experience.

• Previous experience of working with leather and automotive textiles. Knowledge and familiarity of interior soft trimmed automotive parts and their assembly

Experience Required:

• Experience of digitising artwork to generate physical embroidery samples.

• Working knowledge of hand embroidery.

• Ability to be able to read and follow rendered designs, CAD drawings and colour call outs.

• Experience of threads, textiles, leather variants and materials suited to the automotive industry.

• Knowledge and experience of safe working practices adhering to H&S policies.

• Able to communicate effectively to other members of staff and senior management
