Job Description:
You will be operating various forms of Material handling Equipment around the facility.
Ensures the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to feed business operations and customer demand.
Responsibilities:
Take delivery of goods and supplies
Check for damaged or missing items
Store goods appropriately
Pick and pack orders for dispatch
Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
Load goods for dispatch
Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
Input data regarding stock and inventory into the SAP system
Keep accurate stock records
Carry out stock counts as and when required
Keep paperwork up to date
Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
System knowledge and skills:
Understanding of WM-IM ERP systems.
Manufacturing processes.
Experience with Microsoft Word - Excel - PowerPoint.
Experience with Outlook (emails).
Strong communication skills both orally and in writing.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Ability to work accurately and methodically.
Ability to plan and organise workload.
Ability to accurately complete paperwork.
Self-Management:
Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others.
Conduct daily 6S activities to keep all working areas clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency (Sort - Set in order - Shine - Standardise - Sustain - Safety).
Escalate issues effectively both orally and in writing.
Good self-motivator.
Flexible approach to duties and tasks.
Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor-quality Qualifications and experience Levels

Experience:
Warehouse: 3 years (required).
Knowledge of industrial WM systems and storage procedures.
At least 2 - 3 years' experience with ERP and / or MRP systems.
Excellent proficiency in the use of office products (Excel).
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment role.
Experience in working collaboratively and cross-functionally.
Licences and Other Requirements:
Valid UK driver's license
