Virtual Build Analyst

​Position Description:

• Setting up and population of the Engineering BoM (CAD) that enables physical prototype builds for: Full Vehicle protype, full powertrain unit prototypes (battery & EDU)

• Supporting the resolution of non-buildable issues within the Engineering BoM (CAD) ahead of part order processes

• Ensuring the Engineering BoM is aligned to other key datasets that enable part supply to physical build

• Support CAD quality issue resolution reviews with key stakeholders and customers.

• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a simple way.  

• Effective team worker with experience of working with collaboratively with other teams to achieve a common goal.

• A highly driven, self-motivated individual with capability to deliver results under pressure with minimum supervision.

• Ability to work across functional teams and influence decisions.

• Basic skills in the use and application Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience Required:

• BoM Management

• Issue Resolution

• Data Management

• Bill of Material or similar large data set experience. Able to show evidence of planning & delivery.  

• Technical project planner experience, with an ability to manage multiple complex work streams.

• Able to show evidence of planning & delivery.

• The candidate should be capable of expediting successful delivery through assertiveness, strong interpersonal skills, and negotiation with a wide range of multi-function teams.

Experience Desired:

• Knowledge of CAD compatibility.  

• Knowledge of physical vehicle assessments.

• Knowledge of automotive engineering build activities.  

• Knowledge of part release, procurement & supply processes.

• Knowledge or experience in the delivery using agile methodologies and Scrum would be beneficial.
