Vehicle Architectures Senior Engineer

​Position Description:

• Our team create and sustain future proofed & efficient vehicle architectures that deliver world class, modern luxury experiences and maximised customer and business benefits.

• This role focuses on the technical definition and application of an exciting breadth of new technologies and vehicle concepts.

• The role will work on the whole vehicle engineering and integration and will have exposure to the key areas that influence vehicle technology development, interacting across engineering functions and attribute teams.

• Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Operate in the Agile framework, undertaking work as directed by their Product Owner, in accordance with agreed best practice.

• Actively contribute to the development of company body-of-knowledge through development and deployment of tools, techniques & methods

• Maintain the current toolset to ensure it contains the latest data Liaise and Interface with multiple functions to identify, define & develop high value customer enhancement requirements, including functionality, appearance & data

• Plan and conduct enhancements

• Report out in key technical meetings to communicate changes to the customers Run help sessions to offer support to the users

• Create and update user guides for the toolset

• Establish methods to improve performance of the toolset Integrate more data sources into the toolset

• Create and maintain appropriate 'Backoffice' materials, including reference materials and file management

• Act as a consultant / tableau expert to other members of the team Increase the automation within the data

• Develop KPI's / Metrics for both data quality and usage

Skills Required:

• Extensive Experience using Tableau

• Problem Solving

• Communication (Verbal and written)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Technical knowledge and extensive experience of data processing and visualisation using Tableau including Prep Builder, Desktop and Server

• Technical knowledge and experience of data processing using a programming language (Python, R, MATLAB or similar).

• Excellent written and verbal technical communication, influencing and negotiating skills.

Experience Required:

• Engineering degree or similar relevant academic training and experience

Experience Preferred:

• Driving License

• Experience in Automotive or Aerospace Industry

• Experience in Software or wider Tech industry.

• Experience in Vehicle Packaging &/or Technology Development.
