VCATs Engineering Engineer

​Position Description:

• Leading a small team of manufacturing engineers responsible for the assessment & planning of the vehicle test system (VCATS) processes, diagnostics and hardware during the early phases (pre-prototype) of all the JLR vehicle programmes.

• Collaborating with the VCATS technical specialists, the production plants (the customer), the Product Engineering teams (the suppliers) and the Digital IT teams (the infrastructure) to ensure the programmes are achieving the agreed targets, on time and with the required quality.

Skills Required:

• Project management Leadership in a technical environment conformance to ISO9001 or IATF16949 processes

Experience Required:

• Manufacturing environment experience, Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science, Software or Mechatronic Degree

Experience Preferred:

• Experience in an Agile environment Automotive manufacture or engineering
