Test Lead

Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Test Lead for IoT, located in London with flexibility for remote work.
The Test Lead for IoT will be responsible for coordinating and leading testing efforts for IoT products and services, including defining testing strategies, developing test plans and test cases, and managing the testing process.
The Test lead will work closely with our embedded software engineers develop test procedures for our IoT device suite.
You will interface with our operational teams on refining test procedures to reflect challenges encountered in the field.
You will be central to automating these test procedures and making them a core part of our CI/CD pipeline for firmware update roll-out.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in software testing, including experience with IoT products and solutions.
Embedded software testing and test-driven development
Familiarity with hardware “bring-up” and trouble-shooting.
Production testing / interface with suppliers
Familiarity Git as a version control system
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices, including automated hardware/firmware testing and performance testing
Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
CI/CD experience/ knowledge
Experience with IoT Protocols such as MQTT and HTTP
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Can-do attitude with ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools
