Position Description:
The key objectives to be delivered by this role are as follows: Role Objective 1: Provide coaching / support for development of customer level requirements, e.g., Feature / System Statement of Intent (FSOI/SOC) in readiness for Quality Check and approval.
Provide coaching / support to conduct Function Failure Analysis to identify error states and ensure mitigation controls are in place to minimise / reduce technical risk in readiness for Quality Check and approval.
Provide Standards checking / approval (Requirements) service and feedback to engineering.
Work closely with assigned Product Domains and Central Integration Team to ensure any issues / residual technical risks are resolved / escalated to the relevant Forums in a timely manner.
Ensure Lessons Learned are embedded into relevant Engineering Artefacts to avoid repeat things gone wrong
Skills Required:
Systems engineering knowledge, both System V delivery model and DevOps
Good knowledge of Failure Mode Avoidance tools and techniques (e.g., DFMEA, FFA, 8D, Six Sigma, Prevent Recurrence)
Good understanding of customer level, Attribute and technical requirements.
Experience Required:

Educated to degree level in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
Experience Preferred:
Experience of vehicle electrical systems and software development / delivery.
Experience in Automotive Engineering and good understanding of company & external field quality data systems.
Familiar with Project Management principles, control points and practices
