Supplier Timing Supervisor

​Position Description:

• The main purpose of this role will be to lead a team of supplier timing analysts that support prototype operations by managing the supplier base, ensuring delivery promises are maintained via the MRP system and receipts are in line with the MRD (material required date) of each programme schedule.  

Skills Required:

• Managing a team Experience within a material planning & procurement function Customer focus and KPI led

Experience Required:

• Presentation skills (verbal and written) Strong IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, Power Point and Excel

• Experience of managing a team Experience of working to KPI's Customer focus driven

• Experience within a material planning function

• Experience in working within a manufacturing/automotive environment

Experience Preferred:

• Knowledge of the latest technology and processes with a view to driving best-in-class logistics solutions

• Basic knowledge of programming with some experience with using visual basic for applications

• Experience with using Microsoft Access, PowerApps, Visio, Tableau and SAP

• Relevant previous experience of material planning within a prototype manufacturing environment

• Experience with working on MRP systems Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing and similar industry standard quality control methodology

Education Required:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
