Supplier Quality Engineer

​Profile:

• Supplier Quality Management Engineering focuses on planning, organizing, directing, and reporting on supplier provided raw materials, designed/manufactured goods, and packaging materials to ensure they meet or exceed requirements including:

• Verifying and validating that suppliers and/or subcontractors have received engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements

• Monitoring quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities

• Ensuring programs are in place to improve supplier performance and productivity

• Reviewing and analysing corrective action reports to reduce/eliminate defects. May perform deviation investigations into quality issues. Level: A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include:

• Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.

• Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals.

• Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
