​Position Description:

  • This role will be for a backend software engineer who is experienced in their field.

  • The individual will be working within a single team assisting with the creation of new backend products for Ford Credit customers.

  • It is expected for the individual to be able to upskill individuals with the knowledge required around creating leading backend applications.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Java - Java Framework - Web development - DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control) - Relational databases - Server-Side technologies - Leadership - Agile

Skills Preferred:

  • Software engineering (Frontend) - Networking (Subnets, Firewall, Load balancing, VPN configurations) - Security and identity management - Monitoring and logging - Problem-Solving and debugging - Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP)

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years working with backend technologies including Java
