MISSION OF THE JOB:

The Project Manager leads projects within the compny in line with Group Operations Policies, Procedures and Instructions. After the project assignment he/she will be responsible for managing the project team, the scope, and the project resources and be continuously reporting to the Steering Committee all results achieved. He/she can be responsible for multiple projects in a range from setting up a new green field operation, restructuring existing plants to setting up a new line or anew machine, launching of a new model car, or any other project task. The Project Manager will receive support from a Project Coordinator to track and communicate results.

KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Lead project in accordance with Project Management Methodology (e.g., use organisational and process assets, formats, best practices, procedures)
Ensure that the project is properly tracked, a sound risk management process is performed and results are continuously communicated to all relevant parties
Ensure that during the project phases all health and safety requirements for the project team and other stakeholders are respected
Permanently ensure that budget, timeline and deliverables are within the agreed project scope
Contribute to the project team building and train the team members in project management methodology
Ensure a transparent communication in any phase of the Project at all levels 
In the project closing phase take thorough care to hand over the project to Operations 
After project closing contribute to the group’s knowledge exchange in the form of a post-project best practices workshop
Participate in project meetings with Clients / Project Team

The function will be executed in line with the Group Operations Policies (e.g., application of the management process cards) and in line with the management system manual and the process turtle (described in the EFM manual) linked to the above-mentioned function.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

Educational level or equivalent experience:

Business or Technical superior education degree or equivalent

Specific technical knowledge, technical skills, knowledge of applications:

Proven track record in Project Management
In-depth knowledge of automotive industry, JIT and JIS delivery
Practical knowledge of applicable IATF principles
Willingness to travel also for a longer period of time (6 - 18 months)
Fluent in English, French and German are assets
Practical knowledge on Manufacturing, IT, Maintenance, Process Engineering, Quality, Finance
