Product Owner - Wheels and Tyres

​Position Description:

• Product Owner - Wheels and Tyres Interim Agile Module Leader for Wheels and Tyres on a new architecture with multiple vehicles in development.

• Leader of the squad: the PO will guide and support the squad members whilst ensuring that their output is aligned and compatible with the wider business.

• The members of this squad are component engineers releasing wheels, tyres, puncture management solutions and elements of the tyre pressure monitoring system.

• The operating model is Agile Scrum, so the PO leads the squad on the daily basis with close support from the Scrum Master.

Skills Required:

• Delivery of body or chassis hardware for new model programmes in high volume production.

• Team co-ordination within a project management framework (preferably Agile).

• Supplier management for new product delivery into high volume production

Experience Required:

• Working knowledge of the main technologies for wheels, tyres and puncture management in the premium segment.

• Experience leading a diverse team including issue resolution and presentation of the teams achievements to all levels.

• Experienced user of project management frameworks. Experience of supplier management.

Experience Preferred:

• Delivery of wheels or tyres as a lead engineer.

• Experience of delivery in an AGILE project environment.

• Experience of design validation planning.

• JLR product delivery experience.
