​Position Description:

• Physical Properties CAD Engineer

• Proficient CAD user, trained on CATIA V6 Primary focus on JLR prototype package models, whilst also supporting other activities related to the engineering and build of technology demonstrator properties.

• These require understanding and then integration of new technologies into existing or new vehicles.

• Solid and surface creation, manipulation and assembly

• Working in collaboration with build suppliers to create accurate physical models in challenging timescales

• Accurate hard model modifications Prototype mechanism design and build

Experience Required:

• Prototype model build experience

• Operated with manufacturing suppliers previously

• Previous mechanism design - automotive or other related engineering feel

• Candidates must have own transport as anticipated travel to other sites

 Experience Preferred:

• Alias CAD Design advantageous
