​Position Description:

  • The Learning & Development Administrator is part of the JLR Learning Academy.

  • The role primarily provides administration for the delivery of development programmes designed by the Academy team and spans from technical content to leadership, core business skills, Diversity & Inclusion and Early Careers.

  • The Administrator will work with the Academy leads to set up, build, systemise and administer learning content generated from BAU business critical requirements as well as those which derive from Critical Skills workstreams.

  • This role will manage a large number of enquiries which come through the HR ticketing system and the candidate(s) will need to be disciplined, and responsive, able to prioritise workload and work on multiple projects at any one time.

  • A large proportion of the administration is handled within the JLR Learning Management System and other technological platforms - e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, SAP JAM, C4S Ticketing, Microsoft Sharepoint/Teams.

  • This role will also liaise closely with TML, our outsourced administration colleagues to ensure alignment and delivery.

  • Supports the HR Direct Learning Academy Deployment team to provide administration services for all centrally driven content and functionally specific programmes / items.

  • Working closely with the Academy Teams to support and administer learning programmes - both existing and new design Working closely with TML team to enable them to deliver against objectives set

  • Responding to customer queries received into HR Direct via the ticketing system within agreed SLA

  • Providing administration support to ensure effective co-ordination of learning programmes, including raising Purchase Order numbers and shopping carts, goods receipting and updating our LMS

  • Ensuring all learning is accessible to the appropriate employees through SuccessFactors LMS Supporting the LMS Team to build e-learning items for testing within the LMS

  • Uploading evaluation data into the LMS Administration relating to digital content and resources within the LMS

  • Conducting administration tasks in relation to learning events both pre and post event

  • Management of curricula and programmes within the LMS Supporting governance of Academy processes

  • Undertaking any other work as directed by their line manager

Skills Required:

  • Previous Administrative experience ideally in an L&D environment Competent in MS software packages, especially Excel Customer service or customer facing experience

Experience Required:

  • Strong planning and organisational skills

  • Comfortable with technology and aptitude for learning how to use new systems for administering and recording learning

  • High attention to detail and tenacity to drive high quality outcomes for the customer

  • Resilience and enthusiasm responding constructively to new ideas and inputs

  • A good communicator

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

  • An effective team player, actively supporting other team members

  • Competent in MS software packages, especially Excel

Experience Preferred:

  • Experience of working in an L&D administrative/co-ordination role within a large organisation

  • Experience of working with learning management systems - ideally SAP SuccessFactors.

  • Experience of working within a customer service environment, of triaging and responding to customer queries Prior knowledge and experience in the learning cycle

  • Experience of working in a shared service environment
