Lead Software Verification Engineer

​Position Description:

• This role is responsible for the strategic lead, definition and execution of testing Tools and Methods for harmonised Functional Safety control systems solutions, consisting of multiple interconnected components applied to Jaguar Land Rover vehicles for Powertrain.

  Skills Required:

• Strong system engineering and system analysis skills

• Relevant experience of integrated system testing Experience in ISO 26262 - functional safety

  Experience Required:

• Good relevant experience of working in a Systems Engineering environment - ideally within the Automotive Sector but the role may suit someone with experience in other transportation or safety industries

• Experience in ISO 26262 - functional safety.

• Working knowledge in safety analysis (HARA, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, DFA) Strong system engineering and system analysis skills

• Ability to produce formal documentation to a highly professional standards

• Excellent Collaborative skills Risk Management knowledge

• Relevant experience of integrated system testing

  Experience Preferred:

• Experience in applying Systems Engineering and in testing of complex technical systems using a structured approach Expert in Part 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 of ISO26262

• Experience in Control Systems Software Testing using MatLab / INCA / Vector tools

• Full driving licence

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
