​Position Description:

Integration Engineer is responsible to ensure that the whole Interior Panel or Center Floor Console fulfills the requirements of the customer. There are several suppliers, who are delivering components to the client and Integration engineer ensures that all of these parts fulfills the following requirements, and chase the suppliers to do these studies:

  • Flight path analysis

  • Assy order analysis

  • Serviceability

  • Locator strategy analysis

  • Fixing strategy analysis

  • Connector accessibility analysis

  • Tool/hand access analysis

  • Harness length analysis

  • Clearance analysis

  • Create DVP documentation

  • S&R analysis

  • Drawing check

  • System FMEA

  • Specific target analysis

  The suppliers have to be chased by the Integration engineer and needs to track the status of the fulfillment of these requirements. In case of opposition, Integration engineer needs to escalate it to higher levels.

During the development phase these requirements have to be doublechecked virtually and during the prototype phase these have to be inspected manually on the builds. When problem found, it has to be reported to the supplier.

When issues appear with the concept, Integration engineer needs to be able to give advice to the DSS, how should they solve the problem.

When there are interface problems between two or more DSS suppliers, Integration Engineer needs to define who and how should align their design to the others.

For the virtual phase a CAD engineer is given, therefore the integration engineer needs to ensure that the capacity usage of the CAD engineer is 100%.

For the development of most of the components client 'Low Level assembly team' is responsible. This team needs to fulfill all the requirements as well, but they are well informed all the client processes and standards. Cooperation has to be established with this international team (Romanian, Hungarian, German, English, Polish)

Required skills:

  • Strong management skills to ensure that the suppliers fulfills the requirement

  • Strong technical background to be able to support the suppliers with conceptual advices, and to understand all the requirements.

  • Experience with Interior Panel or Center Floor Console
