Feature Configuration Engineer

​Position Description:

• In this role the candidate will be working within Engineering Operations responsible for maintaining and coding JLR features associated with various engineering Input documents used to configure and build vehicles.

• This will involve interacting with Engineering and other key functions across the business.

• There will also be opportunity to utilise the main configuration system for features (Ace) for data entry and possible major process transformation interaction

Skills Required:

• Excellent level of ability to structure, analyse/ interpret data

• High level of IT literacy / Good verbal and written communication skills

• Team working skills and confidence to contribute in cross-functional meetings

Experience Required:

• Previous experience working within a data-driven role

Experience Preferred:

• Proven history of delivering continuous improvement projects

• An individual, who works independently, is results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment
