Electrical Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Electrical Engineering researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.

• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

• Level: A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

Responsibilities typically include:

• Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.

• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals.

• Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

• Part of the wider launch team

• supporting new vehicle launch readiness

Skills:   

• Conversant with software download tools

• Able to work in a launch Environment

• Motivated and good understanding of vehicle launch and supporting plant activities and crisis reviews

• Quality mindset essential

• Previous launch experience around End of line and integration support mandatory

• Canalyer and other Dev-aids experience essential

• The role is Onsite support and will vary across various vehicle related systems

• Ability to work on their own and as part of a Launch team

• Must have a driving license as may be required to move vehicles and verify functionality

• Ability to ready Electrical diagrams and experience of vehicle launch’s

Education:         

• Computer literate

• Educated to HNC or degree level .
