Colour and Materials Designer. The position is required to own a series of projects on the creation team. This envolves: delivering trend and material research, proposals for themes for the vehicles, mood boards delivering ideas on models, developing materials with all materials suppliers, delivering the intent for the program and materials to a feasible level. Must be able to use photoshop and have strong illustrative skills Additionally, it is a requirement to have good aesthetic judgement and an ability to be in tune with design trends, fashion and social trends. An appreciation of form and shape and its effect on surface appearance is essential.

Skills Required:

3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED Good understanding of Automotive Colour and Materials Good aesthetic judgment. Excellent visual communication skills Software knowledge (Photoshop, Illustrator, VRED preferential) Requires a well organised, creative individual who is capable of translating concepts from 2D to 3D product Design Degree in relevant Design discipline

Experience Required:

Design Degree in relevant Design discipline and previous experience as a Designer in an automotive OEM Colour & materials Studio, or in Colour & Materials for other industries. Good aesthetic judgement, colour vision and colour perception. Ability to plan and undertake projects to a strict deadline. Knowledge of automotive materials, processes and suppliers with a high degree of competitor awareness. Ability to adjust to changing design, feasibility and cost requirements. Good communication skills and the ability to relate to all levels of staff and management and be a good team player Good use of English language and good verbal and visual communication skills.

Additional Information:

Driving Licence. The position may require travel and is required to work at the Jaguar Design Studio
