​Position Description:

  • EBC CAD Infrastructure Quality Lead JLR have a significant CAD user base that are represented by a CAD Super User group.

  • This group is responsible for both supporting the users and facing off to the I.T. and Process infrastructure teams in defining and prioritising the issues that the users are facing

  • This role is to optimise and streamline this process, bring clarity and consistency to our approach and drive resolution of the issues on behalf of the CAD Super User Group

  Skills Required:

  • Leadership of CAD related teams

  • Excellent Communicator with ability to simplify complex issues

  • Completer Finisher

  Experience Required:

  • Historical leadership of CAD related teams

  • Excellent Communications skills

  • Ability to simplify complex skills

  • Ablity to influence at all levels

  • Completer Finisher Prepared to 'ring around' to chase issues to conclusion

  Experience Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Dassault Systems 3DExperience

  • Experience of representing a large user base

  Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Creation and Maintenance of a clear and concise prioritised list of issues to positively transform the experience of CAD users at JLR Create and Maintain clear CAD Super User Group ""Bugs and Gaps"" dashboards

  • Run audits of the Issue Definition Quality for the CAD Related Tickets

  • Organise and run CAD 'ticket' review workshops Attend & Represent the CAD Super User Group & User Satisfaction at Key Digital (I.T.)DEC and Dassault Systemes

  • Meetings Drive 3DX issue resolution through internal channels Organise

  • Create and summarise CAD User Satisfaction surveys By working with the CAD Super User Group determine the communications and training that is needed to improve the CAD user skills and experience

  • Ensure the appropriate knowledge capture and sharing is being used and maintained through e.g. CAD Super User Group, CAD Support Sites, Training Material
